Chicago City Limits presents:

CCL Year in Review

(Midtown, NYC) November, 12 2008: A History-making election…A Bottomless Economy…A Man Gives Birth. Sounds like perfect material for one of Chicago City Limits famous Year In Revue shows.  With an eventful year marked by ups as high as the price of gas, and downs as low as the Dow Jones, CCL has a wealth of material rife for comedy.

“This is the time of the year when we take a look at what’s happened and say, ‘Can you believe it?’  It’s a gift straight from world leaders to the comedy community.   Some of this stuff, you just can’t make up,” said Paul Zuckerman, CCL’s Artistic Director.

CCL presents 2008: THE YEAR IN REVUE, the annual December month long performance, showcasing originally written sketches, songs and 2008 event themed improvisational comedy. 2008: THE YEAR IN REVUE opens Dec. 3, culminating in a special New Years Eve Gala Event.  Cast members include Joe De Gise II, Annie Schiffmann, Stefan Schick, and Rob Schiffmann, with Musical Director Rick Hip Flores.  Directed by Paul Zuckerman & Joe De Gise II.

2008: The Year In Revue plays weekly Wed. & Thurs 7:30, Fri. 8:00, and Sat. 8:00 & 10:00 at 318 W. 53rd St. (bet 8th & 9th Aves.) Tickets can be reserved and purchased on www.chicagocitylimits.com or by phone at 212-888-5233.

One State, Two State, Red State, Blue State, CCL’S current show, completes its run on November 29th.  Buy tickets while they last on www.chicagocitylimits.com or by phone at 212-888-5233.
